About Van Dott

Laura is a Mexican artist who channels her emotions into every dot, crafting powerful expressions of her heart. Her art is a personal journey and a testament to the strength of one woman’s spirit, touching souls with each carefully placed dot. 

Laura studied fashion design but decided to focus on her family so she made a career shift into sales. She became an outstanding sales team leader and earned yearly national awards for more than two decades. Nevertheless, she never actually quitted her art call and kept making private artcrafts and learning new techniques.

Then, the Covid pandemic arrived and destroyed both her professional sales dreams and her income. While grieving these losses, she decided to go back to her roots and retake her art spirit.  So while she and the world were living a pretty dark moment, she started filling every space with dots that  brought color and order to her life.

Acknowledging the healing power of art in herself, she was able to finally release herself from her past as a succesfull sales woman. In the meanwhile, she took a leap of faith and dedicated herself to a new endeavor: share her energy and passion through her artwork.
